justin mathews, gordon long, and myself took a three day backpacking trip up to terror basin to climb mcmillian spire.
the red on the map marks our route. it was about 6 miles in each way and a lot of climbing. mcmillian spire is 8000 ft and the trail head was at a 1000 ft. the first day we climbed up into terror basin to the base camp, day two we climbed mcmillian spire, and day three we hiked out. we originally planned to stay for four days but came back after three instead. the blue route on the map was what we were going to explore on the day we cut out.
