after 5 days in iliamnia it was time to head back. we flew as passengers with tim on on of his scheduled flights to anchorage in the pilatus. saying goodbye to iliamnia air taxi as we head off.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

looking down on our fishing area. the area we did most of our fishing was right where the river widens. the houses down there are the village of new haven which just a few miles from iliamnia (and connected by a road). there are no stores down there. just a school and houses.

it was my turn to sit in the cockpit with tim on the flight back to anchorage. that was a great experience to see all of equipment on the plane. here we are landing at anchorage international airport.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

after arriving back in anchorage on friday we headed south to the town of seward.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

we stayed in the holiday inn express that you can see right behind the boats.
